Head of Marketing Hematology

This role puts you at the heart of shaping our hematology portfolio, translating clinical evidence and market intelligence into strategies that accelerate adoption and expand patient impact. You will guide a high-performing marketing team to bring focus, pace and creativity to a pipeline with multiple new indications and targets, working closely with sales, medical and market access colleagues to unlock growth and remove barriers to care.
From day one, you will set clear brand direction, elevate execution quality and build the capabilities that sustain performance—linking sharp forecasting and disciplined governance to bold positioning and differentiated campaigns. Your decisions will help redefine standards of care and deliver measurable business outcomes that matter to patients and the healthcare system.
Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Head of Franchise, you will manage the marketing mix to support strategic objectives, you will conduct analyses of the market, including identification of key growth drivers, opportunities and risks incorporating results of analysis into product strategy.
The role broadly includes the following key components:
- Lead development of brand strategy and marketing plans for assigned portfolio in the TA
- Lead and develop the marketing team including but not limited to performance management, talent management and career development
- Drive and evaluates market research and analyses
- Lead development of promotions, public relations, and advertising associated with assigned brands/products
- Work closely with sales leaders to identify opportunities/issues in the market
- Support the financial processes and TAs forecast working with the Head of Franchise
- Participate in development of training for field/customer service personnel on brand information
- Manage all activities and Account relationship according with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures and Italian legislation.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
MBA or equivalents are preferred
Previous experience in Onco-Hematology preferred
Significant and relevant experience (minimum 5 years) in both a sales and marketing roles
Robust experience in people management (minimum 3 years)
Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional team, communication, budget management, presentation and negotiation skills
Demonstrated Strategic thinking & business acumen
Experience in developing a strategy and executing on that strategy
Experience in managing complex projects
Understanding of stakeholder needs to guarantee the implementation of the brand strategy
Innovation mindset & influence capabilities
Focused on results and risk-taking approach
Fluency in Enghils and Italian languages
