We’re seeking a highly capable and focused Strategic Insights and Capabilities Lead to integrate complex data into clear, actionable insights and drive CRM, omnichannel, and CX capability uplift across Alexion ANZ.
What you'll do
- Triangulate IQVIA/PBS, market research and competitive intelligence to generate clear insights and forecast scenarios in a lower‑granularity data environment.
- Translate analytics into recommendations for marketing, sales and leadership; build digestible dashboards and focus on the “so what”.
- Improve CRM (Veeva) processes, data quality and adoption; enhance omnichannel and digital communications effectiveness; embed operating rhythms and guidelines.
- Drive elements of customer‑experience programs (e.g., Elevate CX), reduce single‑point dependencies, and implement pragmatic process improvements across the BU.
- Collaborate across Commercial, Medical, Finance, IT, and Global teams; set realistic expectations and align partners on performance drivers and priorities.
Essential for the role
- Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a track record in business insights/analytics (manager or senior analyst) translating data into actionable recommendations
- Strong familiarity with standard pharma datasets (e.g., IQVIA sales data, PBS) plus primary market research and competitive intelligence
- Proven ability to synthesize multiple sources into clear narratives and forecast implications; strong data storytelling and stakeholder influence
- Learning agility and comfort operating end‑to‑end—from hands‑on analysis to org‑level strategy—in lean, fast‑moving environments
Desirable for the role
- Experience with CRM (Veeva) and omnichannel/digital communications in a commercial context
- Exposure to rare diseases and/or specialty medicines
- Experience leading capability uplift or change initiatives (e.g., CX programs)
- Advanced analytics/visualisation skills and familiarity with forecasting approaches
