There is an open position for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Oncology.
The MSL is a field-based scientific expert who strategically supports the company’s medical and scientific objectives in the designated therapeutic area. This specialist is responsible for expert communication with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the region, providing accurate and relevant scientific support.
The working format is hybrid: 70% fieldwork, 30% strategic activities.
Requirements:
• Higher education in medicine or pharmacy.
• At least one year of experience working in a pharmaceutical company as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Product Manager.
• Ability to quickly search for and analyze scientific information, interpret results in depth, and apply strong presentation skills.
• Result-oriented mindset, stress resistance, ability to work in a team, knowledge of project management basics, and well-developed leadership competencies.
• English proficiency at Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher.
• Driving license category B.
• Candidates with experience working with oncology products or in a similar position in other companies/original pharmaceutical companies will have priority.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain personal contacts and expert collaborations with key medical specialists in the therapeutic area within the assigned region, achieving consultant status in the relevant field.
• Identify and implement partnership opportunities between KOLs in oncology, medical affairs, and clinical teams: preparation of publications, initiation and support of research projects, participation in regional scientific events, trainings, and speaker development programs.
• Provide scientific support and consulting to experts in oncology, share up-to-date medical and scientific information about diseases and products.
• Communicate expert opinions and feedback on new data and clinical trends to Medical Affairs teams with subsequent formation of strategic recommendations.
• Respond promptly to regional medical information requests, liaise with global company divisions to ensure the provision of reliable and balanced information.
• Contribute to research development, assess applications within investigator-initiated trials, and serve as a project contact person.
• Support clinical initiatives: site identification, investigator recruitment, and presentation of medical and approved scientific data.
