What you’ll do
Job Description / Capsule
Lead and develop a high-performing Vaccine sales team to deliver sustainable business growth across assigned geography and strategic vaccination accounts. Accountable for business performance, customer engagement, account development, launch excellence, and execution of commercial strategies through effective coaching, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring the highest standards of compliance.

1. Business & Account Leadership
Lead the district business to achieve or exceed sales, market share, vaccination uptake, and strategic business objectives.
Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned with franchise and organizational priorities.
Drive business growth through effective engagement of key vaccination centers, hospitals, healthcare organizations, and other priority accounts.
Identify risks and growth opportunities and implement timely action plans to optimize business outcomes.
Ensure successful execution of vaccine launches, customer activation plans, and portfolio growth initiatives.
2. Strategic Customer Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, account decision-makers, and healthcare organizations.
Support the development of strategic partnerships with priority accounts to strengthen AstraZeneca's market position.
Collaborate with Key Account Managers, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Excellence teams to maximize customer impact.
Monitor customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive activities and translate insights into actionable business plans.
3. Leadership & People Development
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Medical Representatives to achieve high performance and organizational objectives.
Set clear performance expectations and establish ambitious yet achievable territory goals.
Conduct regular field coaching and performance reviews to build selling, account management, and business planning capabilities.
Develop succession pipelines and prepare high-potential talent for future leadership opportunities.
Foster a culture of accountability, customer-centricity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
4. Execution Excellence & Performance Management
Monitor territory performance through data analytics, customer insights, and business reviews.
Proactively identify and address barriers impacting execution and business performance.
Ensure excellence in call execution, account management, resource utilization, and customer engagement activities.
Drive disciplined business planning, forecasting, and KPI management across the district.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, Business, or related discipline.
5+ years of successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales experience, including exposure to vaccines and key account management.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
Strong business acumen, account planning, and performance management skills.
Effective stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
Fluent in Vietnamese and proficient in English.
Desirable
Previous people management experience.
Experience working with strategic healthcare accounts, vaccination centers, hospitals, or healthcare networks.
Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Excellence, or Training teams.
Experience supporting vaccine launches or large-scale commercial initiatives.
