Sales & Marketing Manager - Oncology (Breast Cancer) – Czech

As the Sales & Marketing Manager you will lead the commercial strategy and execution within the Breast Cancer therapeutic area. In this role, you will own the brand planning process for dedicated products, guide a team of KAMs to excellence, and orchestrate cross‑functional delivery across Sales, Market Access, and Medical. You will translate deep scientific and market insights into actionable plans that drive patient impact and deliver business performance, while upholding the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the marketing product strategy grounded in deep TA/product knowledge, clinical trial data, and market insights; consolidate cross‑functional inputs to build brand plans across the lifecycle.
  • Consolidate  inputs to identify key business drivers and define clear commercial tactics for dedicated products; develop the annual Business Operating Plan, including phasing and stewardship of the marketing budget.
  • Prepare brand campaigns and promotional materials in line with AstraZeneca promotional standards, SOPs, and applicable industry codes; coordinate omnichannel execution to maximize reach and impact.
  • In close partnership with Medical, manage internal training and external promotional events that elevate product understanding and performance.
  • Lead regular brand meetings to monitor performance and KPIs; use market data to build models, conduct situation analyses, and optimize strategy and investment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of KAMs—from target setting and territory performance management to building capabilities that enable independent, high‑impact territory leadership.
  • Foster effective collaboration across KAMs and other therapeutic area teams, identifying synergies and building awareness across the AZ portfolio.
  • Build and maintain trustful relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs) and critical stakeholders; demonstrate knowledge of treatment guidelines, center infrastructure, diagnostic pathways, patient flow, and payer/policy insights.
  • Partner with Logistics to plan product orders;; manage vendors and ensure budget discipline.

Your profile

Essential:

  • People management experience, including sales coaching and personal development
  • Proven ability to engage customers and external stakeholders on value propositions tailored to clinical, diagnostic, and access needs; adaptable communication style and content.
  • English proficiency (written and spoken) plus Native language

Desirable:

  • Product management and marketing planning expertise, including forecasting, budgeting, and market research within cross‑functional teams.
  • Direct commercial experience in Oncology with deep knowledge of disease, including benefits and barriers to effective treatment.
