Brand Manager Oncology

Location: Brussels (Groot-Bijgaarden)

Introduction to role:

AstraZeneca, a global, science-led, patient-focused biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Brand Manager for our Oncology Team. This role will drive the commercialization of our new cancer franchise on a national level by developing and implementing the marketing strategy and operational marketing mix and tactics to achieve the brand ambition by delivering budgeted or above sales growth. Accountabilities:

As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for advocating for and driving the indications amongst office and field colleagues as well as external customers to ensure the Brand Plans deliver crucial short-term growth and long-term brand success. You will align the global strategic brand plans with local customer & market insights to develop tailored and successful local brand strategy, brand messages and tactical plans. You will also be responsible for driving the launching preparation of indications and premarketing (18 months pre-launch), improving the full use of all commercial channels by developing brand materials (digital/print) and activities through cross-functional teamwork, and much more.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Track record of successful marketing experiences and management of omnichannel projects in a pharmaceutical company
  • Oncology expertise
  • Experience handling complex projects
  • Experience in Insight/Market Research & brand forecasting
  • Master’s Degree in Scientific Field or related
  • Budget management / project management experience
  • Specialty care marketing
  • Languages: Bilingual (English and French/Dutch)

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Sales experience or customer facing role
  • Understanding of the development of the pharmaceutical products in Be-Lux
  • Launch experience
  • Trilingual (English/French/Dutch)
