Accountabilities:
The Medical Lead drives all Medical Affairs initiatives in Gynecologic Oncology, providing strategic leadership to the Core Medical Team and ensuring seamless alignment between U.S. and global strategies. This role leads the development and execution of integrated medical plans, launch strategies, and budgets while safeguarding medical accuracy and compliance across promotional and educational materials. Acting as a key liaison, the Medical Lead collaborates with internal teams, external experts, advocacy groups, and professional societies to advance evidence generation, externally sponsored research, and health economics studies. Additionally, they play a pivotal role in advisory boards, speaker training, and supporting key accounts through close partnership with Medical Science Liaisons and Clinical Value Teams—ultimately shaping medically sound brand strategies and driving impactful outcomes for patients.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Sophisticated Scientific Degree (MBBS, PharmD, PhD, or MD) or international equivalent
- Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience in industry, clinical or research institution, preferably in oncology, rare disease, or related experiences
- 1-3 Years in HQ Medical Affairs Role
- Experience in other relevant disease areas of interest through clinical experience, biopharmaceutical experience or education may be considered
- Experience in supporting brands or disease area levels in country, regional or global organizations is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
- Strong business acumen, including working knowledge of changing U.S. payer and provider landscape.
- Proven ability to interact productively with both commercial and scientific / medical colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally. Travel will be up to ~30% of time.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Solid understanding of FDA requirements
- Experience in a strategy-setting role within Medical Affairs
- Experience in navigating sophisticated business challenges
- Experience in developing and maintaining a network that includes third-party expert
- Experience in other relevant disease areas of interest through clinical experience, biopharmaceutical experience, or education may be considered
- Knowledge of relevant Professional Societies and Scientific Medical Experts.
- Experience with pharmaceutical drug development and Medical/Scientific Affairs

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $241,602 to $289,922. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
