A broad pipeline of next-generation medicines is focused principally on five disease areas - breast, genitourinary/gynecologic, gastrointestinal, lung and hematological cancers.

TheTraining Managerfor theBreastFranchiseinOncologywillalign,designand deliver learning anddevelopment experiences thatenableUS Commercialfieldpersonnel todrive effective engagement withcustomers. TheTraining Manager will beutilizedas the subject matter expertin aligning and developing trainingsolutionsmatched totheclinical and capability needsof the team. Areas of focus include new-hiretraining,ongoingskillsdevelopment aligned to brand/tumor strategy, andproduct orindicationlaunch training. Successful development of these solutions will require an understanding of the various needs of the Sales ForceandBrand and Tumor Strategy, as well as strong agency management skills.Strong communicationskills arerequiredto gain stakeholder alignment torecommended learning plans. Success factors for this role include cultural and operational adaptability,effectivestakeholder management,communicationand execution in a highly matrixed environment, and the ability toleverageagile ways of working.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Anticipatingcurriculum developmentopportunities based on market trendsand alignedcustomer needs– proactive in recommending learningpathwaysand methods
Using their solid knowledge of the therapeutic area,proactivelysupportspeersincontinuousdevelopment of theirClinical Acumen.
Flexing exceptional communication skills to multiple levels of stakeholders in a variety ofsituations; homeoffice and field leadership, cross-functional peers, large and small group facilitation. Exceptional facilitation skills in both virtual and live environments
Proactively finds ways to bring members across OL&CDtogether to find ways to streamline and best practice sharing to elevate practices and thinking
Leading without authority;collaboratingwith key stakeholders andbeinga leading contributor to shaping and influencing decisions and strategy
Designing,executingand analyzing learning evaluations and extracting fromresults meaningful insights toidentifyadditionallearning needs of the salesforce and to shape future learning

Essential for the role
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent required
3+years of a blend of Pharmaceutical, Biotech,oroncologysales or sales leadershipexperience
Healthcare consulting, project management or needs analysis at a business unit level
Minimum of at least3accumulated yearsof trainingortraining relatedexperience(eg.Rotational Training Manager, Regional Training Specialist, Foundations Trainer, Training Program Manager)
Ability to effectivelycommunicate andlead in a cross-functional environment, providing direction and guidance to team members with varied and complementary responsibilities
Knowledge of instructional systems designand/or adult learningmethodology
Desirable for the role
3+years of experience with subject matter knowledge and/or application within Oncology
Ability to translate brand/marketing strategy into effective training plans
Thorough understanding of market dynamic within the oncology space
Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $150,771 - 226,156. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
