The Sr. Marketing Manager, HCP Marketing – will develop the core US marketing plans and drive a robust US commercial strategy in the wake of an active competitive landscape.  These indications represent a significant opportunity in a complex and competitive environment. You will play a critical role in shaping and designing commercial activities and assets, long term strategic planning, key customer engagement. The role will require effective collaboration with the Sales, Field Marketing, Insights & Analytics, Medical Affairs, Sales Training, Nurse Education, and Market Access teams. The position reports directly into US Head of Marketing 

Typical Accountabilities:

  • Brand Strategy Implementation: Responsible for executing the brand strategy for CALQUENCE through the design and delivery of impactful tactics directed to an HCP audience.
  • Asset Development: Develop derivative materials from the CVA—including leave-behinds, RTEs, flash cards, speaker decks, NPP assets, and others—infusing selected key messages grounded in scientific evidence and market research.  
  • Tactical Execution: Advance and implement robust tactical plans for Field, Congress, NPP activities and digital initiatives, maximizing scale and stakeholder reach. Support tactical planning cycle in conjunction with agencies and cross-functional teams. 
  • Sales Rep Training: Support the development of training workshops to ensure alignment to brand strategy 
  • Feedback Integration: Capture and incorporate feedback from brand and field teams to continually refine asset development and execution. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing teams to disseminate best practices, foster innovation through AI initiatives, and enhance partnerships across brands. 
  • Budget & KPI Management: Support budget management and KPI tracking for projects in partnership with the designated Agency of Record. 
  • Project Leadership & Influence: Exhibit effective project team leadership and exercising strong influencing skills across cross-functional teams and agency partners 

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field 
  • 2+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: managed markets, brand marketing, sales, market research/analytics, strategic planning 
  • Available to travel up to 30%  Effective communication and cross functional collaboration skills  Driven to be proactive, strategic and innovative  Ability to manage multiple complex projects  Demonstrated ability to lead without authority 
  • Adapt to changing dynamics in a competitive marketplace with agility and effectiveness 
  • Comfort operating in a highly regulated environment and industry 
  • Possess strong business insight skills, as role is responsible for managing multiple program budgets, timelines, process and procedures 
  • High ethical standards and personal integrity 

Preferred:

  • MBA in relevant field 
  • Oncology experience –highly preferred 
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: NPP / DTC marketing, HCP digital, market research/analytics, strategic planning 
  • Understanding of U.S. Oncology landscape including Community oncology and Hospital oncology dynamics, GPOs, Payer landscape, Specialty Pharmacy stakeholders   
  • In-depth Marketing experience (developing brand strategy, performing positioning, messaging, segmentation, targeting, managing ad agency, providing direction on annual budget planning) 
  • Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Patient marketing) 
  • Launch, management, and customer-facing experience 
  • Experience working in commercial alliance/partnership’ environment. 

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $151,000 to $226,600. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
