  • Maintenance excellence: Build and optimize PM programs, follow KPIs, and lift uptime and asset health.
  • Work management: Partner with Planning and Scheduling; drive accurate CMMS (SAP) data and effective work execution.
  • Materials and spares: Set stocking and reordering strategies to protect reliability.
  • Projects: Lead facilities capital projects from plan to handover—on scope, budget, schedule, and sustainability targets.
  • Construction and commissioning: Oversee reviews, permitting, commissioning, and collaborator communications for safe, smooth delivery.
  • Vendors and contracts: Source, debate, and lead to quality and value.
  • Compliance and quality: Ensure cGxP/FDA/SOP adherence; handle changes, deviations, and training/qualification.
  • Investigations and safety: Lead root cause analyses; champion SHE, hazard assessments, training, and PPE.
  • Sustainability and CI: Cut carbon, waste, and cost; optimize energy and resources with partner teams.
  • People leadership: Coach technicians, engineers, and contractors; build capability and strong cross-functional ties.
  • Site stewardship: Contribute to site planning, procedures, budgets, schedules, and performance metrics; brief senior stakeholders.

Minimum requirements:

  • Maintenance leadership on sophisticated, cGMP-related infrastructure with 24/7 reliability expectations.
  • Strength in utilities, BMS monitoring, CMMS (SAP), planning/scheduling, and KPI-driven improvement.
  • Experience delivering facilities capital projects and managing vendors/contracts.
  • Proven safety, cGxP/FDA compliance, and quality systems ownership.
  • Track record in investigations (RCA/CAPA) and team development.
  • Strategic influence across departments with budget, schedule, and policy accountability.

Desirable skills:

  • cGMP lab/pilot plant/manufacturing experience; second-shift or 24/7 leadership.
  • Certifications (PMP, CMRP), Lean/Six Sigma, and energy/sustainability (LEED, ISO 14001).
  • Analytics for BMS/CMMS to enable predictive maintenance and asset health.
  • Managing multi-contractor environments and long-term service agreements.
