As a Senior Manager, Senior Master Data Quality Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring our data is accurate, complete, and reliable. You'll be responsible for creating, executing, and managing data quality standards, metrics, and processes. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting regular data audits and quality assessments, identifying and analyzing any data quality issues or anomalies, and implementing monitoring and alerting processes using the latest IT technologies.

You’ll work closely with Data Stewards, Senior Data Managers, and operational teams to understand and meet our data requirements. Your efforts will ensure that our data quality aligns seamlessly with our business needs. You'll develop and produce insightful data quality reports and dashboards, keeping our stakeholders informed about data quality metrics and progress and execute SAP transactions to cleanse data where possible.

In addition to these responsibilities, you'll also be involved in developing and implementing data governance policies and practices to continuously enhance our data quality. Your role will include selecting and deploying the best data quality tools and technologies, and you'll also provide training and support to our business users, helping them understand and implement data quality best practices.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating, executing, and managing Data Quality Standards, Metrics, and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
  • Supporting the Master Data team with SAP Data maintenance based on business analysis and confirmation.
  • Regularly conducting data audits and quality assessments, while analyzing and documenting data quality issues and anomalies.
  • Implementing data quality monitoring and alerting Processes using available tools.
  • Collaborating closely with Data Stewards, Senior Managers, and operations to address data requirements and ensure data quality aligns with business needs.
  • Executing SAP transactions to update and cleanse Material Master Data.
  • Developing and producing data quality reports and dashboards, offering transparency into data quality metrics and progress to stakeholders.
  • Engaging in the development and implementation and lead of data governance policies and practices to enhance overall data quality.
  • Providing training and support to business users on data quality best practices and offering education where necessary.
  • Supporting Senior Managers and Data Stewards with Data maintenance in SAP or OMP systems.
  • Leading the Master Data Governance Committee, assessing issues, and promoting the importance of Master Data and data as an asset. 

You will need to have:

  • 5  + years of experience in a Master Data Quality Analyst role, with proficiency in tools such as QlikSense, and familiarity with SQL queries and JavaScript, along with the ability to query and analyse data sets on demand.
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft Excel, including VBA and PowerQueries and PowerBI is a huge plus.
  • Experience in analysing data sets, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring high-quality data standards are consistently met.
  • Working experience in collaborating across teams including differing business units.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience as a data analyst with data quality analysis.
  • Foremost passion for data quality concepts and methodologies.

We would prefer for you to have:

  • Knowledge of SAP Material Master Data Object Fields.
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC/Hana is welcome.
  • Some familiarity with Power Automate and other Microsoft tools.
