Senior Medical Representative

Job Description:

This position is primarily responsible for positively influencing customers’ prescribing behaviour to achieve sales targets, develop territory and build strong customer relationships with the objective of maximizing sales volume and market share of designated products in a given territory in compliance with AZ CO.

Typical Accountabilities

  • Engage specialty healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
  • Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in the territory
  • Supporting CFT in tailoring territory engagement plan.
  • Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the market, demographic, and managed market’s information relative to assigned sales territory
  • Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
  • Ensure excellent medical knowledge and promotional skills related to his/her disease area and product

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry more than 5 Years.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the commercial pharmaceutical marketplace
  • Proven Project Management skills
  • Outstanding selling skills
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Planning and organization skills
  • Impactful presentation skills
  • Fluency in English

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in Cardiovascular therapy area is preferred.
  • Previous experience in private & MOH sectors.
