Sr. Marketing Manager

The Sr. Marketing Manager will lead the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for the Rare Diseases portfolio in Brazil. Working closely with the Marketing Director, this role shapes strategy, reviews business performance, and proposes targeted solutions that support patient identification, access, and long-term outcomes. Success relies on influencing without direct authority and collaborating with a wide range of cross-functional partners – including medical, sales, regional and global teams, legal, and compliance – to secure strategic alignment and coordinated execution across all activities. Accountabilities  
Lead the design and execution of strategic marketing plans for Brazil, delivering disease state education, promotional messaging, and initiatives that drive patient identification, demand generation, retention, and reimbursement support.  
Oversee flawless implementation of all marketing tactics, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and impact metrics are met.  
Work in close partnership with legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure all marketing initiatives are developed and executed in full alignment with internal and external requirements.  
Chair and drive Brand Team discussions to secure cross-functional alignment on strategy, priorities, and execution plans.  
Collaborate with Medical Affairs to build and maintain strong relationships with local and national key opinion leaders in the relevant disease areas, translating scientific insights into impactful brand strategies.  
Partner with regional sales managers to identify training needs, implement commercial tactics in the field, and monitor their effectiveness through clear performance indicators.  
Collaborate with Finance to establish and monitor demand forecasts, recommend the optimal level and mix of promotional investments, and manage the promotional budget with discipline.  
Work with business insights teams and regional/global brand colleagues to design and apply innovative research and analytics that uncover key business dynamics, unmet needs, and growth opportunities.  
Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team composed of a marketing specialist and an intern, building a strong team culture and enhancing core commercial capabilities.  
Continuously review business performance, challenge assumptions, and propose new solutions that better serve patients living with rare and devastating diseases.

Essential Skills
• Experience as a Product Manager at Specialties Areas (preferred Rare Diseases) in pharmaceutical or biotech company.  
• Experience in product lifecycle management.  
• Analytical mind and experience in market analysis.  
• High learning agility.  
• Problem-solving aptitude.  
• Strong scientific orientation.  
• Organizational and leadership abilities.  
• Excellent communication skills.  
• Creative thinking skills.  
• Forecast and budget management experience.  
• Fluent in written and spoken English.  
• Frequent travel (20%) & field focus.  
• Degree in life sciences or in business / marketing  
• MBA referred
