We are hiring a Strategic Account Manager in Denmark toexpand the impact of our growing portfolios in Respiratory & Immunology.

About the role

Do you want to play a key role in shaping the growth journey of a key biological product for AstraZeneca Nordic Marketing Company in a dynamic market? As a Strategic Account Manager, you get both responsibility and freedom to influence strategy and execution within both new indication launches and an area with potential for expansion. You will play a pivotal role in executing projects aiming to meet launch KPIs and drive change in how healthcare is delivered to patients ensuring more patients receive the right treatment to address a significant unmet need. You will be responsible for identifying local, regional and national business opportunities and setting direction for the cross-functional team ensuring robust account strategies are developed to achieve commercial targets. In this role, high-value accounts will be identified and prioritized, ensuring that AstraZeneca's brands are differentiated in key areas to improve market positioning.

This is a field-based position covering entire Denmark with a focusing mainly on highly specialized hospital centers.

Collaboration is key, requiring close work with the local bio brand team to develop tailored strategies for each account and stakeholder. Efforts will be crucial in achieving favorable brand positioning through external listening, collaboration and communication.

Leveraging data analytics, market research, and customer insights, you will identify growth opportunities and utilize tools like Veeva to track customer interactions and forecast sales. Your ability to provide a value-based approach by highlighting the clinical, economic, and patient outcomes of AstraZeneca's products will be essential.

Building and maintaining strategic partnerships within the therapeutic area ecosystem is a vital part of your role. Staying informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and healthcare policies is crucial to ensure AstraZeneca remains at the forefront of the market.

Patient-centricity will be at the heart of all your discussions and solutions, and you will identify and support care transforming projects. Throughout all your business practices, you will demonstrate AstraZeneca's values, ethics, and compliance.

Essential Experience:

  • Academic degree or equivalent in Business or Healthcare.

  • Minimum 5-7 years in healthcare sectors or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proven expertise in driving sales execution and excelling in customer-facing interactions.

  • Shown project management skills and understanding of uncovering external barriers and needs.

  • Solid analytical skills to ensure data-driven insights can be utilized to drive performance for long-term strategic fit.

  • Excellent local language proficiency and very strong English skills, with an aptitude for presentation and stakeholder influence abilities.

  • Strong understanding of the Danish healthcare system, pharma industry, and healthcare dynamics e.g. economics, pathways and access structures.

  • Growth and adaptive approach to prioritize in a dynamic environment.

  • Valid driver’s license.
