Job Title: Senior Engineer - Platform Dev Ops Integration
Career Level - D3
JOB DESCRIPTION:
AstraZeneca is looking for an Integration Engineer to join the R&D IT Regulatory and Quality platform enduring team to manage and maintain our product (ERV, VQV) integrations, that is GxP compliant, and is used across late science teams across all therapeutic areas. Deliver and support integrations in the Veeva RIM & QMS application suite and lead a team of integration engineers. You will be a part of our BizDevOps team, therefore, will be responsible to work cross functionally with other team members such as Product Leads, DevOps Lead and technical engineers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build Integration pipelines in align with Standard architectural patterns
- Participate in continuous improvement discussions, business requirement gathering, feasibility checks, design activities/reviews with business & IT stakeholders as part of scrum team
- Perform delivery activities through Design / Build / Test / Deploy phases for regular planned releases and key platform initiatives
- Generate and implement ideas to simplify / streamline our integration landscape in alignment with integration design and patterns
- Responsible to maintain the design specification documentation for integrations
- Work with Dev Ops Lead including vendor teams to build new integrations and manage existing integrations
- Create reusable artefacts wherever possible. Build User Guides and Best-practice for Tool adoption and usage
- Ability to utilize the vendor based products and build an optimum solution
- Work with product teams to provide full-lifecycle tooling guidance, reusable artefacts
MANDATORY SKILLS:
- At least 8+ years of Experience & hands-on in Snaplogic & associated Snap Packs
- Ability to create custom snap packs and deploy them in production
- At least 4+ years of experience related to API Terminologies and API Integration – preferably Mulesoft
- Excellent SQL knowledge pertaining to Relational databases including RDS, Redshift, PostGres, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, DynamoDB
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, meets deadlines, and work independently
- Strong problem-solving skill
- Experience with process tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with people across the globe with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Experience of working in agile teams using methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban and SAFe.
- Experience in integration of CI/CD processes into existing Change & Configuration Management scope
- Working experience in Veeva Vault platform and products – RIM, QMS
- Knowledge of support processes - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change management and experience working in large sized support/delivery teams and service now (SNOW).
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience in GxP or SOx regulated environments
- Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications using AWS
- Experience with Snaplogic & Mulesoft integration platforms - Administration
- Experience in SDKs

Degree in Engineering/Life Science
