Join us as a SAP Technical Consultant and be part of a world-leading company headquartered in the United Kingdom, operating across more than 100 countries. As a member of our technical team, you'll play a crucial role in a large SAP support and maintenance project that spans multiple SAP landscapes globally. If you have proven experience in SAP ABAP and Core Functional Areas such as MDG, MM, SD, FI, QM, PM, PP, and thrive in both maintenance operations and implementation projects, this is the opportunity for you!

Accountabilities

As a Senior Consultant - SAP ABAP, you'll be expected to work as part of the MDG technical (ABAP) team responsible for maintenance and support, including Incident and Problem Management, as well as developing new functionalities for our internal SAP system. You'll write Technical Design documents, collaborate with other Technical and Lead Consultants, optimize SAP modules, and proactively address issues. You'll initiate changes linked to SAP Support Packages & Enhancement Packs alongside the Lead Consultant. Customizing and testing based on Functional Design and Technical Design documents will be part of your responsibilities. Our SAP System landscape includes ECC 6.0 EHP8, S/4 HANA, MDG, PI/CPI, BW, EWM, GST, ATTP, GBT, APO, ATTP, MDG, LSCV, OMP, SOLMAN, Focused Build, and third-party systems.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • CORE ABAP (WRICEF)

  • SAP MDG: Data Modeling (MM, BP, FI), UI Modeling (FPM/MDC), Rule-based Workflows, BRF+, Derivations/Validations, Data Replication (SOA/ALE), DRF

  • MDG Domains: BP (Customer/Vendor), Material, Finance (GL/Cost Center/Profit Center)

  • Integration: SAP S/4HANA, ECC, DRF, IDoc, OData, PI/PO, CPI, SLT

  • Fiori/UI: MDG Fiori apps, OData services, CDS views, UI enhancements, BAdIs

  • Data Quality & Governance: Duplicate checks, Match & Merge, Validation frameworks, Data enrichment, Consolidation

  • Workflow & BRF+: Rule modeling, Determinations, Approval workflows, Notifications

  • Technical Extensions: BAdIs, USMD* APIs, User Exits, BADIs for validations and derivations

  • Programming: ABAP, CDS, OO ABAP, AMDP; performance tuning

  • Migration: MDG Consolidation, MDG Mass Processing, LSMW/SLT, ETL coordination

  • Exposure on system upgrade activities (SPDD, SPAU, Note Implementation)

  • Good understanding of the Solution Manager and Focused Build change management process will be an added advantage

  • SLT, EWM, LSCV BW, APO and GST/ATTP skills are added Advantage.

  • Knowledge on HTML5/JavaScript (SAP UI5) will be an added advantage

  • Should have involved in at least 1 SAP MDG implementation along with support experience.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and interpersonal skills

  • Commit to deliver quality and have a thorough approach

  • Proactive approach to problem solving.

  • Experience working in a globally distributed team

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Preferably an Engineering qualification (B.E / B.Tech) or equivalence.

  • SAP certification on HANA Programming and/or MDG Application will be an added advantage.
