Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Visual Analytics Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Visual Analytics, you will play a crucial role in leading technical efforts, architecting solutions, and developing applications within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. Your deep expertise in Power Platform architecture, software development, test-driven development, performance optimization, deployment, and statistical analysis will chip in to the success of our projects. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in Microsoft Power Platform technologies, exhibit leadership qualities, and hold relevant Microsoft certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of visual analytics developers and data analysts, providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of analytics solutions.

  • Own the technical aspects of Power Platform projects, providing guidance and direction to the development team.

  • Architect end-to-end solutions within the Power Platform ecosystem, considering scalability, security, and standard methodologies.

  • Design, develop, and implement applications, workflows, and automation using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

  • Apply test-driven development principles to ensure high-quality and robust solutions in the Power Platform environment.

  • Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective technical solutions.

  • Perform performance optimization, monitoring, and fix of Power Platform applications to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.

  • Manage deployment processes for Power Platform solutions, including version control, release management, and environment setup with IT teams.

  • Apply statistical analysis and data modelling to derive insights from Power BI reports and dashboards.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Power Platform and related technologies to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).

  • Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

  • Shown experience as a technical lead or architect within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

  • Strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Platform connectors.

  • In-depth knowledge of software development practices within the Power Platform environment.

  • Proficiency in test-driven development methodologies and experience in applying them to Power Platform solutions.

  • Demonstrable ability to optimize performance and solve issues within Power Platform applications.

  • Hands-on experience with deployment strategies and tools for Power Platform solutions.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modelling, particularly within Power BI.

  • Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform App Maker, Power Platform Developer, Power Platform Solution Architect, or similar.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to define the long-term analytics roadmap and strategy, aligning it with the organization's business objectives.

  • multi-functional Collaboration: Champion collaboration between different teams, such as data science, engineering, and business intelligence, to drive alignment and enhance the impact of analytics initiatives.

  • Thought Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard processes in analytics and data engineering. Act as a leader with vision within the organization by sharing knowledge and promoting innovation.

  • Performance Metrics: Define and supervise key performance indicators (important metrics) to measure the effectiveness and impact of analytics solutions. Present regular reports and insights to senior management and team members.

  • Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the analytics backend solutions team and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
