Job Title: Lead Consultant - Cloud Data & Analytics

Introduction to Role:
Join our global team of software engineers, data engineers, and informaticians in our A-DMTA platform to support biologics and antibody drug discovery as a Software Engineering Lead. You will be responsible for designing and implementing software-based solutions to make our science easier to do, easier to learn from, and offer faster delivery and higher quality biologics and antibodies. Accountabilities:
You will design and build novel software products and enhance existing solutions to address challenges of biologics drug discovery. You will collaborate with product, design, data science, and our scientific teams to build cutting-edge experiences and services. You will also propose and implement changes to data models, core software architecture, and codebase that are ready for scale, highly secure, and cost optimized. 

Essential Skills/Experience:
• Experience designing, implementing software applications in at least one backend programming language, e.g., Python, NodeJS, Java.
• Experience building web app front ends using one of the web frameworks; e.g, Angular, React, VueJS.
• Solid experience using relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (Elastic Search/ MongoDB) with an emphasis on query optimization techniques, handling big data
• Experience in performance tuning SQL and building ETL pipelines for large scale data movements.
• Experience of data analysis – profiling, investigating, interpreting, and documenting data structures.
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting data issues, analyzing end to end data pipelines and in working with users in resolving issues.
• A Solid experience in consuming or exposing web services (i.e. SOAP, REST) using microservices and modular monolithic architectures.

Desirable Skills/Experience:
• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade scalable products and applications using container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience delivering CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD, TravisCI) for multiple production applications.
• Technical lead one or more teams delivering data pipelines and services
• Experience in creating and critically evaluating data architecture in the cloud
• Solid experience using cloud services building multi-tier applications in cloud
• Excellent verbal and written skills for effective communication with a variety of personas including, engineers, testers, architects, product managers, scientists, etc.
