Job Title: Consultant - SAP Quality Management

Introduction to role:

Are you ready to apply deep SAP Quality Management expertise to strengthen global quality processes that help deliver life-changing medicines faster and more reliably? We are looking for someone who can help shape how we design, operate, and evolve our SAP S/4HANA QM landscape to meet complex, regulated business needs at scale, directly impacting supply continuity for patients.

You will partner with business and technology teams to translate real-world pharmaceutical quality and manufacturing requirements into simple, scalable designs aligned to SAP standards. From batch management to integrations with LIMS and allied SAP modules, you will create solutions that enable right-first-time outcomes, trustworthy data, and compliant operations. We value people who can turn stringent GxP expectations into elegant Fiori-enabled user experiences that elevate performance.

Accountabilities:

  • Application Management Support: Lead incident, problem and service requests for QM, ensuring stability, clear SLAs, root-cause fixes and knowledge capture.

  • Solution Design and Delivery: Design global S/4HANA QM solutions and improvements that align to SAP standard, with clean configuration and robust documentation.

  • Process Design and Standardization: Facilitate process design with business partners to simplify, standardize and embed standards across sites and markets.

  • Integration and Data Integrity: Orchestrate integrations between QM and SAP PP, MM, SD, PM, EWM, as well as third-party LIMS, safeguarding end-to-end data quality.

  • Compliance and Validation: Build solutions that meet GxP and SOX requirements, deliver validation-ready documentation and pass audits without rework.

  • Migration and Modernization: Lead data migration activities and adoption of Fiori apps and S/4HANA capabilities to modernize user experience and reduce technical debt.

  • Collaboration: Communicate in business and technology language, balancing priorities, managing expectations and influencing decisions across global teams.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify automation and simplification opportunities, champion metrics-driven improvements and promote AI-enabled ways of working.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • SAP Certified in SAP S/4HANA Quality Management

  • SAP QM experience of 5+ years and with good exposure on Batch Management

  • Strong knowledge in QM Business process, configuration, and interface solutions between SAP and Third-Party Systems

  • Good knowledge on integration aspects and configuration dependencies with SAP PP, MM, SD, PM and EWM modules

  • Experience in working on Data Migration projects

  • Experience in S/4 technologies, QM configurations and Fiori Apps

  • Experience of Pharmaceutical supply chain business activities and the required business outcomes within the relevant capability area

  • Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a validated environment

  • Strong collaborator able to work across the program team, communicate in Business & IT terms and work independently

  • Worked in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources across geographical locations

  • Good Communication and Relationship Building skills with an ability to Influence others to achieve Objectives

  • Good Presentation skills and the ability to convey complex concepts to cross functional audiences

  • Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate from reputed University

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge in SAP BRH

  • Knowledge of non-SAP technologies in the relevant line of business e.g., LIMS like GLIMS / GQCLIMS / MODA-ES and QMS like GPQS

  • Awareness about SAP Activate, EML, Agile, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager, BPML & Testing Tools

  • Data Migration with S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
