Job Title: Associate Engineer - Master Data Management (Relito)

Introduction to role:
Are you ready to make enterprise data trusted, discoverable, and usable so teams across research, development, and commercialization can move faster for patients? As an Associate Engineer focused on Master Data Management, you will ensure the reliability and flow of core data that underpins decisions across the company.
You will join a collaborative, outcomes-driven team that partners across functions and with external experts to connect systems and people. Your work will keep our Reltio platform resilient, our validations effective, and our consumption layers responsive. Do you enjoy solving real production issues one hour and optimizing lifecycle actions the next? Here, you will see the direct impact of your engineering on how quickly we deliver life-changing medicines.
Accountabilities:
Incident and Problem Resolution: Lead the support landscape for Enterprise Master Data, triaging, resolving, and preventing issues raised by data stewards and master data consumers to maintain trust in critical records.
Reltio Validation Engineering (Java LCA): Manage and enhance Java LCA code to enforce robust validations, improving data quality and compliance at scale.
Configuration Change Enablement: Implement and support change requests for existing Reltio configurations, balancing speed with stability and governance.
API and Data Asset Support: Support consumption layer APIs built on MuleSoft and the data asset layer on Snowflake, ensuring clean, performant data flows into downstream analytics and applications.
CI/CD and Release Reliability: Maintain and evolve the CI/CD codebase for the Master Data layer to improve release cadence, test automation, and deployment quality.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Manage the support landscape of Enterprise Master Data, providing resolution to incidents and problems reported by business users including data stewards and master data consumers.
Manage Reltio - Java LCA (Lifecycle Actions) code that enforces validations on master data
Support change requests on the existing Reltio configurations
Support consumption layer APIs built on MuleSoft and data asset layer built on Snowflake.
Support CICD (Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment) codebase of Master Data layer.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Hands-on Java development for Reltio LCA and custom validations
Experience with Reltio data model design, survivorship rules, and match/merge tuning
Designing, building, and supporting MuleSoft APIs and integration patterns
Snowflake SQL, performance optimization, and secure data sharing
CI/CD with Git-based workflows and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins, plus automated testing for data pipelines
Production support at scale, including root-cause analysis, monitoring/observability, and incident postmortems
Understanding of data governance, data stewardship workflows, and data quality metrics
Ability to collaborate with multi-functional stakeholders and external partners to drive adoption and outcomes
