Job Title: Senior Advice & Guidance Specialist (Supporting France)
Introduction to role:
Join our HR Services Team as a Sr. Advice & Guidance Specialist (French Speaker) supporting France, where you'll play a pivotal role in providing trusted HR advisory services. You'll resolve HR queries and issues of low to medium complexity using our HR case management system, Service Now, while navigating various global and local HR policies and processes. Your expertise will help shape the employees’ experience and support our mission to deliver life-changing medicines.
Accountabilities:
Provide guidance and coaching to managers and HR colleagues on all HR policies, processes, and programs.
Collaborate with HRBPs to support business leaders and line managers, tailoring HR support to local requirements and business priorities.
Respond to employees’ queries within the assigned timeframe through the HR case management system.
Drive the yearly plan of promoting the HR Operating Model, coaching employees to use the right channels.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in Global and Regional HR Centers to improve employee experience.
Handle various Workday business processes for the assigned account, such as hiring, job changes, and compensation changes.
Manage activities related to 3rd parties and benefits providers, ensuring compliance with company practices and policies.
Deliver general HR support and act as a key point-of-contact for professional advice on HR activities and programs.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure high service levels.
Provide ad-hoc and periodic reports and analysis to HR stakeholders and businesses.
Ensure payroll accuracy and respond to payroll-related queries.
Essential Skills/Experience
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
3 - 5 years of experience within HR operations
Must be Able to communicate fluently in French & English
Keen attention to detail and focus on data accuracy
Understanding of common service center enabling technologies – e.g. case management
Demonstrated ability to manage competing tasks efficiently and prioritize workload within a matrixed team environment
Experience in Microsoft applications
Highly developed communications, organization and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work with confidential data
Experience of delivering against Service Level agreements, including working with third party providers to meet work deadlines
Ability to think analytically and effectively problem solve using creative solutions
Desirable Skills/Experience
Knowledge of France labor law and country specifications is a plus
Workday system knowledge would be an asset
HR degree or equivalent
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
Experience within Multinational companies
