Key Account Manager - Rare Disease

Introduction to Role:

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) for Rare Diseases (neurology), you will be at the forefront of managing and developing medical needs in relation to our RD products. Your goal is to proactively identify business opportunities and present value propositions that align with the needs and goals of decision-makers at the centers you visit.

Accountabilities:

As a KAM, you will build and develop long-term relationships with relevant decision-makers at the centers, share information with the RD x-functional team, identify needs and opportunities to improve the positioning of RD products, and introduce these products to decision-makers. You will also be responsible for understanding, analyzing, and synthesizing information and data, identifying patient journeys, preparing account plans, carrying out activities corresponding to strategic goals, and performing administrative tasks related to your role.

Crucial Skills/Experience:

  • Extensive sales experience in a pharmaceutical company with RX products
  • Relevant education: medicine, pharmacy biology,
  • Experience in managing key accounts - specialist doctors (especially neurology, rare disease or oncology)
  • Knowledge of the English language at a negotiation level and proficiency in Hungarian
  • Willingness to travel within Hungary (full territory, focus on neurology)
