Senior Manager US Marketing Operations gMG

The Manager, gMG Marketing Operations will support the US gMG team to drive daily gMG marketing initiatives, including but not limited to budget tracking, vendor management, sales force communication, speaker bureau and event / congress planning.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead promotional materials inventory management, including field communications and reapproval of expiring materials.
- Lead label updates for Alexion-approved products, including vendor management and coordination of Promotional Review Committee (PRC) approvals.
- Partner closely with Finance to oversee departmental budget and accrual tracking.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Legal to process and submit contractual documents, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate completion of agreements.
- Oversee the sales force resource guide and track utilization of sales force resources and materials in inventory.
- Plan and coordinate sales force communications supporting the rollout of marketing materials and initiatives.
- Lead annual congress planning and the annual needs-assessment planning process for generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG).
- Plan, prioritize, and monitor promotional materials and logistics for Tier 1 and Tier 2 HCP and patient congresses in gMG, including AAN, MGFA, AANEM, and MDA.
- Plan, prioritize, and monitor materials undergoing the internal Alexion approval process for commercial materials.
- Mentor and develop Alexion employees on internal contracting and approval processes, including SOWs, POs, and ARIES.
- Drive speaker bureau operations in partnership with the HCP Engagement team.
- Leverage approved AI-enabled tools to improve operational efficiency, including organizing and summarizing information, monitoring material inventories and timelines, identifying process trends, and supporting routine reporting.
- Apply appropriate AI-supported workflows to draft, refine, and personalize internal communications, planning documents, and status updates, while maintaining human accountability, protecting confidential information, and ensuring compliance with Alexion policies and applicable review requirements.
You will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years Pharmaceutical or Medical Device marketing experience or 1-2 years life sciences consulting
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects across functional areas, and work independently when appropriate, in teams and as a sub-team lead
- Experience in managing external agencies and/or vendors on a day-to-day basis and budget management
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel

- Rare disease or specialty experience
- Experience with Promotional Review Committee or Ad Prom process and approval of branded and unbranded promotional content
The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $115,795 to $173,693. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles.
