The Opportunity
The Global Head of Rare Neurology, Global Marketing & Market Access plays a critical leadership role in maximising the commercial promise of our Rare Neurology portfolio — andultimately deliveringlife-changing care to patients across the world.
This positionis responsible forproviding the leadership, intellectual impetus, and sense of urgency to develop and execute the Therapeutic Area business plan globally. You willestablishglobal positioning and cross-functional commercial and access strategies, partnering with regions and local markets to achieve revenue andearnings objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Head of Global Marketing & Market Access, this role is an integral member of the Global Marketing & Market Access Leadership Team. You will work closely with Clinical Development, Medical, and Regional Commercial leaders toestablish, refine, and deliver the overall strategicobjectivesfor the Rare Neurology organisation.
Success requires building strong cross-functional relationships in a multicultural, matrixed environment — leading through influence in a high-paced setting that is relentlessly focused on the patient. The successful candidate willdemonstratean exceptional ability to organise and simply communicate complex data, align others behind a strategy across cross-functional teams, and gain credibility at all levels of the organisation. You will craft strong near- and long-term strategies for the portfolio, including leadingnumeroussuccessful launches and go-to-market strategies.
KeyAccountabilities
Commercial performance — Achievement of strategic priorities and financial business goals for the current Rare Neurology portfolio.
Launch strategy & execution — Delivering and executing prelaunch marketing strategies and execution plans, including partnering on regional implementation with shared accountability for success. Serve as single point of contact for the TA, Global Product Teams (GPTs), and Global Medicine Teams (GMTs).
Business case delivery — Delivery of governance-approved business cases within tolerance on time, cost, and quality, working with functional management to resolve issues asrequired.
Lifecycle management — Delivery of Target Product Profiles (TPPs), strategic guidance on global lifecycle management, and oversight of commercial elements of external collaborations.
Strategic & long-term planning — Overseeing portfolio-level strategic and long-term planning, including long-term forecasting and business case development.
Cross-functional partnership — Partnering across the Global Marketing & Market Access team, including:
Global Market Access — sustainable pricing and access strategy across multiple products and indications
Global Market Insights —identifyingkey business and market dynamics for continuous improvement
Global Launch Excellence — readying the organisation for efficient launch execution
Global Portfolio Analytics — long-term forecasting and business case development
Talent & team development — Attracting, developing, andretainingtop talent on the Global Marketing Team; building a high-performing, motivated organisation.
Innovation & technology — Bringingexpertisein novel thinking andcutting-edgetechnology to support patients throughout their journey, including CRM systems, patient/HCP portals, access programmes, and new payer access solutions. Evaluating and implementing AI solutions that optimise the rare disease patient journey, drive stakeholder engagement, enhance adherence, and increase operational efficiency.
WhatWe’reLooking For
Essential Requirements
Education — Minimum Bachelor'sdegree in a scientific or business field.
Experience — 15+ years of related experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with successful commercial experience including leading P&L for large commercial units (launch and post-launch).
Strategic leadership — Strong strategic thinking and judgement, with the ability to influence without line authority and align cross-functional, cross-geography interests (Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, GHEOR, Regional Leadership, and Country Operating Units globally).

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $329,683–494,524USD. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coveragein accordance withthe terms of the applicable plans.
