Director, US Marketing, NF1 PN
Are you ready to define how healthcare professionals recognize and treat plexiform neurofibromas in neurofibromatosis type 1?
As Director of HCP Marketing for NF1 PN, you will lead the strategy that helps clinicians identify appropriate patients and confidently use Koselugo, a MEK 1/2 inhibitor approved in 2020, to change lives in a rare, underserved condition. Your work will translate insight into action, elevating standards of care and ensuring more patients receive the benefit of a proven therapy.
Based in Boston, you will join a close-knit, mission-driven team that partners seamlessly across Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Patient Services, and Analytics. Can you turn data and KOL perspectives into bold, compliant tactics that shift clinical behavior for the right patients?
Accountabilities:
Brand Strategy Leadership: Own the HCP strategy for the NF1 PN US business, creating a clear plan that differentiates Koselugo and guides field and non-personal promotion to drive appropriate use.
Customer Insight Generation: Build a deep, nuanced understanding of HCP and patient needs through research, advisory boards, and sustained KOL engagement; translate findings into targeted, testable tactics.
Performance Management: Establish critical metrics for personal and non-personal channels, track progress weekly and monthly, and adjust programs to improve reach, quality of engagement, and treatment adoption.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Sales, Training, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Patient Services, and the Promotional Review Committee to align strategy, accelerate execution, and ensure all materials meet the highest standards.
People Leadership: Serve as day-to-day manager for the Associate Director of HCP Marketing (dotted line), providing clear priorities, coaching, and feedback to elevate team performance.
Media Strategy and Measurement: Lead strategic oversight of the HCP media plan; optimize channel mix, creative rotation, and spend based on impact, efficiency, and brand objectives.
Analytics Partnership: Collaborate with commercial analytics and insights teams to assess market dynamics, identify opportunity segments, quantify barriers, and design primary and secondary research that sharpens targeting and messaging.
Annual Planning and Budgeting: Drive annual brand planning, connecting short- and long-term priorities to a resourced tactical plan and budget that deliver sustainable, compliant growth.
Executive Communication: Build streamlined, persuasive updates for senior commercial and medical leadership through monthly business reviews and quarterly reviews; highlight learnings, decisions, and next steps.
Agency and Resource Management: Direct the brand agency of record and other partners, ensuring on-brief delivery, speed, and value; manage budgets with rigor and transparency.
Ethics and Compliance: Uphold the company’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct in all activities; ensure promotional materials and tactics are evidence-based, accurate, and appropriate for HCP audiences.
