This is what you will do:

As the Associate Director of Veeva System, Promotional Review and Operations (PRO) at Alexion, you will be integral in ensuring the seamless management of our material review system and processes. Your role encompasses leading critical aspects of the review system, driving agile functionality delivery, and providing comprehensive training and support to users of the Veeva Vault PromoMats system. Additionally, you will spearhead continuous business improvements, manage day-to-day operations, and oversee large-scale projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. This role operates within the Boston office, requiring effective communication, problem-solving, and collaborative efforts. Availability during standard business hours is expected, with occasional ad hoc responsibilities as necessary to support organizational objectives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead and Oversee Material Review System: Take ownership of the Material Review system and process, ensuring strict compliance with guidelines and alignment with future state roadmaps.
  • Drive Agile Functionality Delivery: Champion the agile delivery of functionality in Veeva Vault PromoMats, meticulously tracking and testing system configurations for optimal performance.
  • Provide Comprehensive Training and Support: Offer thorough training and ongoing support to users of PromoMats systems, fostering proficiency and maximizing platform utilization.
  • Spearhead Continuous Business Improvements: Initiate and lead continuous business improvements, focusing on streamlining processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams for enhancements.
  • Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee daily operations, manage project plans and timelines, prioritize tasks, and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Effective Technical Product Management: Manage PromoMats as a technical product, collaborating with IT teams for Agile management and innovative planning to ensure system functionality.
  • Undertake Large-Scale Project Management: Lead and manage projects, such as transitioning CRM systems, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with objectives.
  • Content Lifecycle Management: Oversee creation, review, and distribution of compliant content, including digital asset management and claims management.
  • CRM Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Veeva Vault PromoMats with CRM systems for content distribution.
  • Content Repository Management: Manage the Brand Portal, facilitating easy access to content for internal users and shared markets.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure Veeva Vault PromoMats generates compliant packages for digital submission.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate and integrate digital content across the organization's Veeva ecosystem.
  • Operational Efficiency: Improve operational efficiency within the organization.
  • Compliance with Local Regulatory Requirements: Ensure commercial content follows local regulations.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Eight+ years of experience in Veeva Vault PromoMats system and processes management.
  • Proficiency in Veeva Vault PromoMats administration.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional ability to create and complete project and communication plans.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong technical competence and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in agile deployment of changes and continuous improvement.
  • Expertise in technical product management and IT partnership.
  • Extensive experience with Veeva Vault Digital Asset management (DAM).
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment.   • Experience in SOPs, Guidelines, and Policies development.
