Training Manager - Andean Cluster

At AstraZeneca, we are looking for aTraining Manager-Andean Cluster (Bogotá,Colombia)to join our team. This role willbe responsible forleading the design, planning, implementation, and oversight of the comprehensive training strategy for the Andean Cluster. You will ensure that training programs for commercial, administrative, and businessunits areeffectively executed in Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador, aligned with LATAM regional and international guidelines. Your strategic vision, leadership, and results-driven approach will be key to strengthening employee knowledge, skills, and competencies, driving business performance, and fostering continuous professional development within the organization.
MainResponsibilities
- Lead the overall training strategy for all business units and countries in the Andean Cluster, ensuring alignment with international and regional guidelines.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to define annual training priorities in sales techniques, competency development for representatives and middle management, and other critical areas.
- Supervise the implementation of performance evaluation systems to promote competency development and ensure achievement of commercialobjectives.
- Drive digital learning initiatives, including the implementation and maintenance of online training platforms, supporting digital transformation in learning processes.
- Define, update, and implement continuous learning methodologies, integrating virtual and in-person programs tailored to the organization’s various roles.
- Assess commercial team competencies and implement strategies to ensure alignment with established standards.
- Implement and update global and regional sales models (e.g., Leadership Selling, Dynamic Selling, Patient Centricity), ensuring consistent and effective commercial communication.
- Promote innovative and creative training programs to foster continuous skill development across sales teams.
- Support District Managers and sales representatives in applying learning tools andverifyknowledge transfer in the field.
- Manage thelogisticsof sales cycle meetings and strategic sessions, ensuringtimelydelivery of materials and proper execution of training activities.
- Oversee the training budget, ensuringoptimaluse of available resources.
KeyRequirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Chemical Engineering, or related health/scientific fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in commercial leadership or training roles.
- Proven experience managing teams and overseeing learning programs across multiple business units.
- AdvancedEnglishproficiency.
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, and results-oriented skills.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while ensuring process compliance and achievingobjectives.
- Proactive, innovative, and collaborative mindset.
- Strong digital and collaborative skills: Teams, Copilot,AZChatGPT, PowerPoint, Power BI.
