Accountabilities
Journey Development: Design, build, and maintain customer journeys in SFMC Journey Builder, leveraging audience segmentation, triggers, and multi-channel touchpoints.
Campaign Execution: Configure, launch, and monitor automated campaigns including email, SMS, push notifications, and other SFMC-supported channels.
Data Integration: Work with databases, Marketing Cloud Connect, and data extensions to ensure accurate audience targeting and dynamic content delivery.
Reporting & Analytics: Analyse campaign and journey performance, generate insights, and suggest optimisation strategies to improve KPIs.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing (unit, UAT) to ensure journeys execute as intended, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
Collaboration:Collaborate with marketing/sales and IT executives to execute strategy and deliver business solutions that contribute to success.
Documentation:Lead documentation efforts using lean methodologies suitable for the rapidly changing Global Commercial model.
Platform Expertise: Stay up-to-date on SFMC enhancements and best practices, advising on use of automation features and integrations.
Define business requirements for digital systems evaluation, piloting, and integration.
Align IT digital roadmap with annual tactical plans and manage day-to-day operations.
Essential Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Marketing, CS or equivalent
Overall, 6 years of proven experience with 4+ years of experience in IT or Marketing Automation with exposure to marketing operations
Experience with Marketing Automation tools Salesforce Marketing Cloud; especially marketing automation and journey integration with web
Experience with Web CMS tools; especially web development and deployment
Experience with developing emails HTML, CSS
Experience in developing and operationalizing global digital technologies (mobile, web, custom applications)
Experience designing digital channels to support corporate, marketing, and commercial plans
Experience in project management (hybrid-waterfall-agile), development, and support of complex projects
Experience interacting with remote onshore and offshore technical teams
Experience working in a multi-disciplined, multi-functional matrix organization
Experience working in Biotech or Pharmaceutical preferred but not required
