Job Title: Senior Manager - Decision Science

Introduction to role:

Are you ready to turn AI into crucial business impact that helps bring life-changing treatments to patients faster? As Senior Manager - Decision Science, you will lead the development and deployment of AI applications and tools that power our analytics function, translating strategy into scalable solutions that drive better decisions across the enterprise.

You will orchestrate multi-disciplinary teams to move from idea to deployment quickly and responsibly, crafting our platform strategy and ensuring the right infrastructure is in place for machine learning and sophisticated analytics. Could you align engineers, data scientists, and collaborators behind a clear roadmap, ensure timely delivery within budget, and show measurable value at every stage ?

Accountabilities:

  • AI Product Delivery: Lead projects that involve the development and deployment of AI applications and solutions sought at improving the analytics function, ensuring timely delivery and strong adoption.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate the efforts of software engineers and other technical personnel to convert business needs into secure, maintainable solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and budget, and provide project status reports to collaborators with clear, data-driven updates.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to balance speed with quality and compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget, aligning priorities and resolving dependencies.
  • Platform Strategy: Contribute to the development of platform strategy and roadmap, prioritizing capabilities that scale AI and analytics impact.
  • ML Enablement: Work with the decision science team to ensure the necessary infrastructure and tools support machine learning models and other analytics solutions, improving time-to-value and reliability.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Manage projects that involve the development and deployment of AI applications and tools that support the analytics function
  • Coordinate the work of software engineers and other technical team members
  • Track project progress and budget, and report on project status to stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Contribute to the development of platform strategy and roadmap
  • Work with the decision science team to ensure that the necessary infrastructure and tools are in place to support the development of machine learning models and other analytics solutions

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience delivering AI/ML platforms and analytics products in cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) with MLOps practices
  • Background in pharma, biotech, or other regulated industries with an understanding of compliance and governance for data and models
  • Expertise in agile delivery at scale and product management, including value tracking and stakeholder alignment
  • Ability to translate between technical detail and business outcomes for senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with cost management and performance optimization for data and ML workloads
