Accountabilities:
Oversee the development life cycle of solutions and manage complex projects with significant impact.
Collaborate with product managers and platform owners to develop strategies for web development.
Work closely with senior engineers to design and develop new products.
Instill best practices for software development and documentation.
Manage project prioritization, planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead engineering efforts.
Ensure operational excellence in monitoring and operation of services.
Lead junior team members and foster collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Manage digital project delivery, including new capabilities and SLDC processes.
Coordinate team priorities for digital development and manage outages and incidents.
Educate technical teams on development capabilities, particularly Sitecore websites.
Drive vendor management to align application portfolio with business priorities.
Essential Skills/Experience
Experience with Sitecore and web development in high availability environments, CMS Architecture and Design, Common API Classes, Security Model, ASP.NET MVC framework, jQuery JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
Experience in leading onshore, nearshore, and offshore development teams using DevSecOps standard methodologies.
Experience designing, developing, and delivering digital assets to support corporate plans.
Experience working in a multi-disciplined, multi-functional matrix organization.
Estimation/sizing, Change Order/SOW contracting experience with successful negotiation outcomes.
10+ years of proven experience with atleast 4 in IT management roles.
Ability to travel up to 20% for foreign and domestic travel.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies or equivalent work experience.
Experience working in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industries.
Development knowledge of Data Templates, Renderings, and Content items using Sitecore.
Experience setting up Content Delivery and Management environments for websites.
Excellent informal leadership, networking, and communication skills.
