Introduction to role

Are you ready to turn complex forecasting models into scalable, automated insights that shape decisions across our pipeline? In this role, you will help move our forecasting capability from spreadsheets to a cloud-based platform, redefining how we plan, prioritize, and deliver for patients.

You will work at the center of collaboration between forecasting, insights and analytics teams and our platform vendor, integrating existing models, standardizing taxonomy, and unlocking real-time reporting. Your work will reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and enable faster, smarter decisions. Accountabilities

Platform Onboarding: Integrate new or updated sections and entire Excel-based forecast models onto the cloud platform, ensuring fidelity of inputs, outputs, and calculations.

Reporting and Visualization: Update and create BI and PowerPoint reports using the platform’s reporting solution to deliver automated, actionable insights.

Data Pipelines: Set up new OSS data pipelines that reliably connect source data to the platform and keep analytics current.

Taxonomy and Synonyms Governance: Own taxonomy additions and updates, partner with GIBEx/GA&I leads for approvals, work with the Platform Admin for execution, and maintain the synonym list with IP&C to drive consistency and discoverability.

Release Testing and Quality: Lead UAT for platform version upgrades, validating new functionalities and safeguarding continuity for users.

User Enablement and Adoption: Train new users, fix implementation challenges, and champion smooth adoption across teams.

Continuous Improvement: Provide structured feedback to inform feature enhancements and optimizations that increase performance, usability, and scale.

Essential Skills/Experience

Integrating existing Excel-based forecast models onto a cloud-based forecasting platform

In-depth understanding of forecast inputs, outputs, and calculations

Updating and creating BI and PowerPoint reports using the platform’s reporting solution

Setting up new OSS data pipelines

Owning taxonomy additions and updates, partnering with GIBEx/GA&I leads for approval, and working with the Platform Admin for execution

Owning the synonym list together with IP&C and collaborating with the Platform Admin for execution

Conducting UAT for platform version upgrades to validate platform functionalities

Providing training to new users and offering solutions to implementation-related challenges to ensure smooth adoption

Providing feedback on feature enhancements and optimizations

Desirable Skills/Experience

Experience with cloud data platforms and enterprise data pipelines

Familiarity with BI and visualization tools and automation of reporting workflows

Exposure to forecasting processes in life sciences or adjacent industries

Experience with taxonomy and metadata management practices

Vendor collaboration, collaborator engagement, and change adoption support

Comfort translating business needs into scalable, platform-based solutions
