Introduction to role:
Are you ready to lead and inspire a team of Clinical Data Analysts? As a Senior Clinical Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and mentoring our growing team while actively contributing to data delivery. This player-coach position allows you to shape the team's development, improve processes, and drive strategic impact across our portfolio. You'll be at the forefront of optimizing clinical trial execution and patient outcomes, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and providing valuable input on the development of data products and tools that support our mission to deliver market-leading digital health solutions.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and Mentor: Manage and develop a team of Clinical Data Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
  • Data Management: Drive the development, review, and sign-off of data management documentation, including Data Management Plans and Data Transfer Agreements with customer study teams.
  • Data Standards: Define and validate raw data standards for clinical measurements and digital endpoints (e.g., eCOA, sensor data).
  • Pipeline Configuration: Configure mapping files and test datasets to reflect agreed clinical data flows; validate data outputs to ensure alignment with specifications.
  • Troubleshooting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues in production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations.
  • Change Management: Submit and track change requests for production deployments and updates.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the Data Delivery function in internal and external meetings, driving data transfer requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams, Evinova study teams, and customers to ensure smooth data operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing enhancement of data delivery processes and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Clinical Data Management, Computer Science, Data Engineering).
  • Significant experience in clinical data management and digital health delivery.
  • Strong understanding of clinical data standards (e.g., RDS), mapping, and transformation processes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., GxP, ICH GCP, FDA 21 CFR, GDPR).
  • Familiarity with tools such as AWS S3 (including error logs), JIRA, and scripting languages (e.g., TypeScript).
  • Proficiency with GitHub for basic operations (push, pull, merge, pull requests).
  • Experience working in VSCode or other coding editors.
  • Skilled in JSON text formatting and data mapping, including creating configuration files in JSON and TypeScript.
  • Experience with SAS Universal Viewer (SAS7DBAT).
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word).
  • Ability to interpret and troubleshoot data pipeline configurations and test outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and clinical teams.
  • Comfortable working across clinical, technical, and operational teams.

When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines. In-person working gives us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions. That's why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office. But that doesn't mean we're not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world.
