Theyact as an interface between business customers and technical teams to prioritize building what matters most to enable the strategic goals of theenterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Setthe vision and strategy for data productsin givendomains, guided by a clear understanding of business value and customer needs, ultimatelytranslatingtheseneeds as input into the design,buildand iteration of data products.
Create,maintainand owndata product roadmaps, leading the ongoing delivery and management of the product frominceptionto maturity
Own and manage feature backlogs, teaming with architects, analysts, and engineers to elaborate requirements. This will also includetimelyreversal of technical debt.
Identifyand manage partnershipsrequiredto ensure innovative capabilitiesatthe intersection of data science,technologyand healthcare.
Lead cross-functional teams fromideationto launchofdata productsensuring coordination between data platforms,solution architecture,informationarchitectureand data governanceso that the final product meetsbusiness,technicaland regulatory requirements.
Champion agile, iterative development processes, while also ensuring data products are Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable
Managedependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and milestones.
Communicate effectively with the business leaders whose operations areimpactedbydata productsand the programming surroundingthem.
Act as the voice of the business to prioritize building what matters most to enable the strategic goals of the enterprise
Own and manage the business metadata and metrics forspecifieddata products
Engage and collaborate with partners and stakeholders to gather input and communicate plans, timelines, and deliveries
Perform relevant Data Stewardshipactivities if assigned to that role

Understanding of the principles of Product Management
Familiaritywith data engineering concepts such as data modelling, data lakes / databases, reference data, master data,etc.
Experience leading or working on agile development teams

Experienceestablishing, communicating, and executing product roadmaps
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Familiaritywith the key principles andprocesses of DataManagement(Governance,Architecture, Modelling,Reference and MasterData, Integration,Storage, Business Intelligence)

Ability to manage and influence strategically and persuade tactfully, to obtain desired outcomes whilemaintainingeffective, positive, organizational relationships.
Desirableforthe role
Master’s or PhD in a scientific or technical discipline.
3+ years of relevant experience inpharmaceuticalindustry with strong knowledge of Drug Development Processes and the diverse sources of information that support,informandassistinhealthcare/clinical research.
Familiarity with the latest research and thinking and understanding of dynamics affecting the pharmaceutical industry and needs for transformation.
Ability to work globally including international travel.
Familiarity with data science, data visualization, and reporting concepts
Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
