Responsibilities
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of biopharmaceuticals? As a Business Support Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning, directing, and overseeing a wide range of analyses related to current and future operations. Your expertise will provide oversight on essential business support activities, including CapEx, KEE contracts, and procurement. Join us in our mission to explore and innovate, unlocking the power of what science can do.
Accountabilities
In this dynamic role, you will act as the Early R&I KEE contracting coordinator, maintaining a deep understanding of AZ contracts processes. You will provide advice and mentorship to colleagues, ensuring they use the right processes for their needs. Your responsibilities will include administrative support for Early R&I KEE contracts, such as contract renewal, initiation, payment tracking, and maintaining up-to-date contract records. As the Early R&I Global Capital Demand Manager (GCDM), you will work with departmental capital coordinators to capture future CAPEX demand and provide a prioritized view for approval from the Early R&I leadership team. You will manage the end-to-end CapEx process, ensuring timely equipment purchase and delivery. Additionally, you will be proficient in the AZ purchasing system COUPA, offering support for purchase-related problem-solving. You will guide Early R&I staff on where to seek support and share knowledge and learning as appropriate. Your commitment to delivering work on time, within budget, and to company quality standards will be essential. Keeping your knowledge of best practices and new developments up to date and actively sharing with team members will be key to your success.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Demonstrable experience in operational management, implementing new processes and solving complex operational challenges.
- Thorough knowledge of operational processes and local regulations spanning CapEx and procurement.
- Ability to oversee financial and contractual management of collaborations and budgets.
- Pro-active with a can-do attitude.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
