Are you ready to turn scientifically led opportunity into commercial impact for patients living with cardiovascular, renal and metabolic conditions? Can you lead a cross-functional brand team working with speed and precision while shaping the wider healthcare ecosystem?

In this role, you will spearhead the commercial strategy in a key CVRM brand and build momentum across the entire organization. You will connect insight to action, mobilize diverse expertise, and deliver on the moments that matter in the patient journey. Your work will help remove barriers to innovation, accelerate execution, and create solutions that deliver better outcomes for patients and the healthcare system.

You will thrive in a high-energy, collaborative environment that values autonomy and accountability. This is a role for someone who loves pace, who can start small and scale fast, and who brings both scientific curiosity and commercial acumen to unlock value and impact.

Accountabilities:

  • Brand Management Leadership: Prepare and execute the commercial plan for a key brand, setting clear goals, measuring outcomes, and adapting at speed to deliver market impact.
  • Cross-functional Orchestration: Lead the Brand Team and enable close collaboration between Marketing, Sales Force, Medical, Regulatory, and Market Access to align strategy and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Strategic and Operational Brand Planning: Develop the annual Brand Plan, translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Market Insight and Forecasting: Analyze local market and competitive dynamics and build robust long-range forecasts that guide decisions, resourcing, and prioritization.
  • Performance Storytelling to Senior Leaders: Regularly present business results versus budget, market insights, and implications to senior leaders, turning data into decisive actions.
  • Investment Stewardship: Plan marketing spend across current and outer years, managing variance to budget and optimizing for return on investment.
  • Omnichannel Execution: Lead the multi-channel marketing mix and roll out priority projects including promotional material, congress activities, and HCP events that shape demand and advocacy.
  • Field Collaboration and Capability Building: Partner with the Sales Force to understand needs and deliver targeted training that lifts capability and performance in the field.
  • External Advocacy and KOL Engagement: Represent AstraZeneca and strengthen ties with local and national opinion leaders to build advocacy for the CVRM portfolio.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Higher level education in Science or Business, or equivalent experience
  • Pharmaceutical commercial experience (min. 1 year) with strong performance track record
  • Marketing experience, preferably in Cardiovascular and particularly in Heart Failure, and/or Chronic Kidney Disease
  • Strategic marketing capabilities
  • Rigorous commercial business sense
  • Customer-focused with interest in building relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, moderation, training and negotiation skills
  • Experience in relationship and stakeholder management
  • Curious personality and good cross-functional team-player
  • Excellent organization skills
  • High level of motivation and proactivity
  • Proficient in operating Microsoft Office
  • Strong working proficiency in English

When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines. In-person working gives us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions. That's why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office. But that doesn't mean we're not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world.

Why AstraZeneca:

Here, scientific insight meets commercial execution to change the trajectory of disease. We build ecosystem solutions that reach beyond our own walls, connecting partners and ideas to improve every step of the patient journey. You will have autonomy to move fast, a trusted environment to experiment, and an inclusive team that values kindness alongside ambition. With unexpected teams in the same room unleashing bold thinking, you will help shape the next decade of BioPharmaceutical innovation and see your work translate into measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
