Medical HealthCare Partner is a scientific and healthcare expert in the field to foster a new way of adding value to the Health System, and therefore impacting patients’ lives with aspecificfocus on engaging in high-level scientific exchange, on building and maintaining peer-to-peer relationship with external experts, understanding and uncovering unmet medical needs, generating relevant insight, and fieldimplementation of innovative projects or solutions.
Tasks will include:
Comprehensive understanding of the HealthCare System PathwaysregardingtheHematologysetting.
Active mapping of initiatives and insights from the Healthcare System that can contribute to the improvement of patientpathway.
Proactively drive and/or supportsustainable system transformation for patientmanagement.
Work in a cross-functional team as a medical-scientific expert in theHematologytherapeutic area.
Help develop the medical strategy and its implementation within the framework of the integrated plan, based amongst others uponthe externalmedical environment insights.
Prepare, manage,execute, andfollow a tailored field medical and communication plan aligned withHematologytherapeutic area.
Build andmaintainpeer level relationship with key external experts to support understanding of the Portuguese healthcare ecosystem & clinical dynamics and to engage with the medical / scientific community in a highly credible, balanced, and objective manner,representingAstraZeneca’s dedication to and excellence inscience.
Support local,regional,and global AstraZeneca clinical researchprogramand externally sponsored researchprojects.
Foster opportunities tocreatereal-world evidence data generation projects in collaboration with themedicaland X-FT team.

Help set up and provide medical-scientific training and further education in your therapeutic area for the sales force and other AZpersonnel.
Organization and execution of field medical and communication plan.

Profile...
University degree in a health-related scientific field.
Good understanding of oncology (preferablyHematology setting).
Professional experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry, preferentially in afieldmedical role or within Medical Affairs.
Hematologytherapeutic area experience withinclinical research will also be considered.
High-level ofscientific knowledge and ability to analyze and process clinical and scientific data.
Experience in liaising with healthcare professionals.
Project managementskills(preferably).
Knowledge of the legal and ethical framework and the procedural guidelines that apply to the promotion and approval of medicinal products in Portugal(preferably).
Quick self-learner,abilityand willingness to work in a team andindependently.
Communicative competence and presentation skills.
Written and verbal communication skills, including communicating complex technical, scientific, or medical information to broad audience types
Very goodknowledge of spoken and written Portuguese.
Very goodcommand of written and spoken English.
