Introduction to role:


Are you ready to turn bold oncology science into measurable commercial impact by contributing to a pivotal brand launch? This role places you at the heart of a launch-critical program where your decisions will help bring life-changing treatments to more patients, faster.

As Junior Product Manager, you will set the pace for a key upcoming brand by preparing commercial launch plans, contributing to a cross-functional Brand Team, and driving tight collaboration across Marketing, Sales Force, Medical, Regulatory and Market Access. You will contribute to shape the annual Brand Plan from strategy to execution and ensure a high-quality rollout across the organization. How will you translate evolving market insights into decisive moves that win share and accelerate patient access?

You will work with colleagues who bring diverse perspectives, move with urgency and curiosity, and challenge convention to unlock better outcomes. From marketing to omnichannel execution, you will own critical levers and routinely present performance and insight-driven recommendations to senior leaders.

Accountabilities:

  • Analyzing local market and competitive dynamics, incorporating new inputs continuously and building long-range forecasts for brands in the Portfolio 

  • Regularly presenting our business results vs. budget, market understanding and insights to Senior business leaders at all levels in the organization 

  • Planning of Marketing spend in current and outer years ensuring minimal variance vs budget 

  • Contribute to multi-channel Marketing mix and rolling out key projects developed with cross-functional input including promotional material, congress activity, events for HCPs etc. 

  • Close collaboration with Sales Force to better understand their needs and develop appropriate training for their benefit 

  • Representing AstraZeneca and growing advocacy for OncologyTeam by strengthening ties with local and national opinion leaders 

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Higher level education in Science or Business 

  • Pharmaceutical commercial experience (min. 1 year) with strong performance track record 

  • Marketing experience, preferably in Oncology  

  • Strategic marketing capabilities 

  • Rigorous commercial business sense 

  • Customer-focused with interest in building relationships 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, moderation, training and negotiation skills 

  • Experience in relationship and stakeholder management 

  • Curious personality and good cross-functional team-player 

  • Excellent organization skills 

  • High level of motivation and proactivity 

  • Proficient in operating Microsoft Office 

  • Strong working proficiency in English 

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in oncology or specialty care and familiarity with clinical data interpretation

  • Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical brand launches and lifecycle management

  • Knowledge of regulatory, medical and market access processes in a highly regulated environment

  • Proficiency with CRM, digital marketing analytics and omnichannel performance measurement

  • Strong analytical storytelling skills, turning data and insights into clear strategic recommendations

  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local language

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing; postgraduate qualification is an advantage
