Franchise Lead Alpine Meta+ (Switzerland & Austria)

Location: Baar, Switzerland

Reports To: Country Director Alpine

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Franchise Lead to drive the development of key Alpine strategies and tactics in alignment with global strategy to achieve local business objectives in dedicated brands. The successful candidate will lead and coach the commercial team to implement targeted tactics addressing the identified pain points in the patient journey across assigned indications. This role will drive excellence in account management, ensuring offerings are tailored to meet the specific needs of each account and indication. The incumbent will be part of the Alpine leadership team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Leadership, development,performance management, and coaching of the commercial team  
  • Accountable for all aspects of commercial activities, inclusive of insight-driven marketing strategy/execution and field team promotion for your brand/TA that meet brand objectives and improve the patient experience
  • Launch readiness leadership for future indications and products
  • Oversight and drive for account management excellence in assigned brands and indications
  • Development and execution of the annual brand strategic plan and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Leadership in assigned Therapeutic areas, fostering effective collaboration with market access, medical, and expanded local/regional teams
  • Close and effective collaboration with market access, medical and broad cross-functional team to achieve business goals and performance
  • Implementation and development of effective account management tools and customer focused tactics
  • Drive of digital activities for the Alpine region in close partnership with the regional digital team
  • Uilization of data and insights to implement high-impact tactics
  • Field support and coaching for the commercial team (30% expected)

Qualifications

  • Broad commercial experience  including marketing and sales management in the pharmaceutical industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the Alpine markets and healthcare systems, with a good understanding of market access landscape in one of the Alpine markets
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams and achieve goals by delivering through others
  • Fluency in German is a must, French knowledge being an advantage
  • Previous experience in people management
  • Previous experience in rare disease is a plus
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience
  • Customer focused with a positive can-do attitude
  • High energy and flexibility

Education

  • Business or Scientific Degree
