You will partner closely with global, regional, and country teams to navigate EU HTA implementation, evolving evidence requirements, international reference pricing, and shifting oncology funding models, turning complexity into clear, actionable strategies that maximize access and portfolio value.

Can you translate scientific innovation and evolving healthcare trends into regional access strategies that maximize patient impact and portfolio value?

Accountabilities

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with GlobalOncology Market Access Pricing (OMAP), Medical, HEOR, Policy, Government Affairs, and Commercial teams to ensure evidence generation plans and value propositions meet payer and HTA requirements at regional and country level.

  • External Environment & Policy Shaping: Monitor and assess the implications of EU HTA, international reference pricing dynamics incl. MFN, and evolving oncology funding models; translate insights into pragmatic regional guidance.

  • Country Enablement: Build strategic partnerships with country market access leaders to drive excellence execution, share best practice, and strengthen local capabilities.

  • Business Planning Integration: Embed market access and pricing assumptions into business planning and forecasting cycles to inform investment decisions and portfolio prioritization.

  • Governance & Representation: Represent EUCAN market access perspectives in regional and global governance forums, ensuring priorities, risks, and opportunities are visible and addressed.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Qualification: Master’s degree in health economics, Economics, Life Sciences, or a closely related discipline.

  • Market Access Expertise: 10+ years' experience in Market Access, Pricing, or HEOR within the pharmaceutical industry, with significant oncology experience.

  • Pricing & Reimbursement Strategy: Proven track record of developing and executing successful pricing and access strategies across multiple European markets,

  • Launch Experience: Direct involvement in at least two major oncology product launches in a regional or multi-country capacity.

  • Stakeholder Influence: Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment in highly matrixed, global organisations without direct line authority.
