Introduction to Role:
Join us at AstraZeneca as a Brand Lead Oncology in our Oncology Business Unit. We are seeking dedicated and experienced marketers to prepare the launch and improve the potential of our leading portfolio in Breast Cancer. Accountabilities:
To report directly to the Breast/Gyn Cancer Franchise Head, guiding the brand team for Breast Cancer. You will be involved in improving current Breast cancer indications of 2 products and preparing for the launch of upcoming indications, as well as a new molecular entity. You will own the development of the annual brand strategic plan for the indications under your responsibility and coordinate its execution. You will collaborate with regulatory affairs, market access and medical to ensure adequate implementation of planned activities. You will maintain contacts with opinion leaders and represent our company at scientific and promotional events. You will also be responsible for annual budgeting (costs and sales) and supervise these goals on an ongoing basis.
Crucial Skills/Experience:
- Experience as a marketer in a pharmaceutical company
- Previous experience in oncology
- Experience in launch preparation and leading cross-functional teams
- Proficient in analyzing data and developing effective plans
- Ability to effectively tackle problems and think critically
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Hard-working and self-motivated to excel in a position that offers independence
- Proficiency in English, proficiency in German.
