What you will do
Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role is key to the facilitation of scientific exchange between AZ and the Scientific Expert community, with the opportunity to improve patient outcomes by providing needed information that addresses important clinical and scientific questions.
MSL is a field-based role, with the responsibility to implement the medical plan, supporting AZ’s products through scientific and therapeutic expertise. The MSL has deep content knowledge about specific disease states, available products, and investigational compounds, as well as detailed knowledge about research, regulatory and medical education environments, and related processes.
This position reports to the Medical Lead Respiratory & Immunology.
Essential for the role
- University degree in a health-related scientific field
- Project management / cross-functional collaboration skills / execution
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Quick self-learner, ability and willingness to work in a team and independently
- Availability to travel
- Fluency in Greek and English
Desirable for the role
- PharmD, M.D., Ph.D. in a medically related field
- Previous pharmaceutical industry experience within Medical Affairs
- Knowledge of respiratory therapeutic area, is a strong plus
- Knowledge of legislation relevant to pharma industry and commercial landscape
