Sales Training Manager
Key responsibilities
- Strategy and instructional design: interpretsales force performance indicatorsand translate them intoagile, executable training strategies; deliverinstructional designacross multiple modalities (e-learning, job aids, manuals) and craftadult learning experiencesfor diverse learning styles.
- End-to-end training management: leadneeds diagnostics,course implementation(includingNew Hire Training), andevaluation, maintainingtraining recordsandprogress reportingto stakeholders.
- Field execution and impact: conductquality-of-execution assessmentsviaiCAST, field rides, role-plays, and certifications;correlate knowledge with sales force performanceand provide business feedback.
- Global alignment and cross-functional collaboration: serve aspoint of contact with Commercial Learningtoadapt global programstoAZ Mexiconeeds; co-create training withMarketingandMedicalto supportnew product and indication launches.
- Leadership and talent support: partner withsales leadersoncompetency assessmentsandcareer planning, includingcalibration sessions; providein-field feedback and coachingtoRVsandFLSMs.
- Budget and governance:manage the annual training budget, maximizing resources and minimizing variances;report progress and impactto theCommercial Core Team (CCT);influence the CFTwith insights on learning needs.
- Platforms and measurement:administer LMS platforms(e.g.,Degreed, ACTO, Xyleme),design assessment and diagnostic instruments, and ensureoutcomes measurement.
Mandatory requirements
- Education: Degree inHuman Resources, Education/Pedagogy, or Sciences.
- Experience:1–2 years in training, withexperience leading sales or training teamsandexperience as a training coordinator or manager.
- Languages:Intermediate–advanced English.
- Tools: Proficiency withoffice productivity suites.
- Knowledge:End-to-end training processes(needs assessment, design, delivery, evaluation).
Desirable requirements
- LMS:Knowledge of learning platforms; familiarity withDegreed, ACTO, Xyleme(or similar) is ideal for faster ramp-up.
- Technology:Experience with AI toolsapplied to learning and productivity.
- Industry:Training experience in pharmaand comfort with a regulated environment.
