Industrial Park “Vorsino”, Kaluga region

Our manufacturing site in the Kaluga region is the product of total investments in excess of USD 224 million. AstraZeneca was one of the first multinational pharmaceutical companies to announce plans to invest in full-cycle manufacturing in Russia.

The site officially opened in 2015 and commercial production at the facility began the following year. We expect to have full-cycle facilities ready by the end 2017. This will see maximum capacity annual production of an impressive 40 million packs – or 850m tablets – covering around 30 medicines in the AstraZeneca portfolio.
