As a Senior RPA Engineer, the candidate will be involved in the design, development, coding, customization, configuration, testing, deployment, and full support of automation solutions based on RPA technologies. This role focuses on both building automation solutions and providing technical support to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of bots in production environments.

The ideal candidate will develop and maintain automations using the underlying architecture of Automation Anywhere A360 and other related Microsoft technologies, such as .Net and client scripting languages. Additionally, they will handle automation support issues, providing effective resolutions to technical challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support automation projects.
  • Gather business requirements to develop tailored automation solutions.
  • Support documentation throughout the solution lifecycle as needed.
  • Collaborate in defining and designing automation solutions, including launch approval activities.
  • Configure automation code, adhering to standards, modularization, scalability, and reusability.
  • Perform unit/functional testing and validate classifications and outcomes.
  • Conduct compatibility testing between automation tools and target systems within scope.
  • Design and develop testing and maintenance procedures.
  • Implement best practices, standards, and procedures, including quality and delivery methodologies.
  • Identify bottlenecks and issues, devising solutions to mitigate them.
  • Take ownership of support issues from initiation to resolution, providing clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and report improvements to the automation service.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into practical automation solutions.
  • Manage the application lifecycle for automation projects, covering all technical stack components.
  • Maintain and update documentation associated with Automation Solution Delivery.

ANDATORY SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in software engineering/software development, with proficiency in languages such as Python, .Net, Java, C/C++, and C#.
  • Hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere, UI Path, and Blue Prism (or other RPA tools) and certification in one of these platforms.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (both traditional and agile).
  • Experience in creating technical specifications, test plans, and support documentation.
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles and incident/organizational change management.
  • Strong communication, technical writing, and presentation skills for engaging with senior partners.
  • Passion for staying updated with the latest automation trends and adapting to new developments.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Basic knowledge of Macros (VBA), VB Script, and JavaScript.
  • ITIL Certified or trained.
  • Familiarity with applications such as ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • AGILE/Scrum certification.
