As a Business Specialist for Sales Force Operations, CVRM (Cardiovascular Renal Metabolic), you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives.

What you’ll do

  • Reporting to the Director, CVRM the SFO Business Specialist will provide functional area support aligned with end-to-end deployment needs. This role is critical to develop cross-functional partnerships ensuring a high degree of customer service as well as learning all functional roles within SFO.
  • The primary responsibilities of this role include developing and leading analysis to drive business decisions, driving cross functional stakeholders toward project deliverables, and development and delivery of effective customer communication. Collaboration will occur across SFO, IT, and commercial stakeholders for both status updates and to accelerate commercial decision-making.
  • This individual will also be accountable for learning all functional areas across SFO including field deployment, incentive compensation, CRM, data and field reporting. In addition to core business process and function knowledge, this individual will engage in and enhance their commercial stakeholder interactions and broad business decision acumen skills.

Core Responsibilities

  • Project management of the end-to-end demand, deliverables and interdependencies for the SFO team
  • Deliver insight focused analysis to inform critical business decision making
  • Develop knowledge of functional content and business processes across all SFO functions including field deployment, incentive compensation, CRM, data and field reporting
  • Partner within SFO, Sales and Marketing to capture requirements and desired outcomes, make recommendations and coordinate to drive strategically critical initiatives
  • Deliver SFO value through effective and strategic communications to stakeholders and customers
  • Continuously enhance the strategic relationship and outcomes gained from our strategic vendor partnerships
  • After sufficient onboarding, apprentice SFO Leaders for additional learning and development, ownership of initiative and succession planning

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support innovative approaches to enhance process efficiencies
  • Engage in project based capability builds for the organization (i.e. omnichannel, new ways of working, etc.)


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated learning agility
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration skills
  • Experience is managing projects
  • Strong people skills, mentoring skills and a solid team player
  • Proficient with MS Office suite of tool especially Excel and PowerPoint


  • 1 - 4 years’ experience
  • Solid informal and formal communication skills including excellent presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management engagement experience
  • Well-developed business acumen and strategic agility
  • Able to develop and communicate timely business insights from the data, share and defend those insights
  • Ability to think outside current processes and make recommendations
  • Ability to lead initiatives across workstreams
  • Proficient with MS Office suite of tool especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with collaboration software such as MS Teams, SmartSheets, etc.
  • Experience in a variety of brand team or field sales analytics using Excel and query software tools
  • Experience managing strategic vendor contracts and relationships
  • Experience in leading without authority
