The BioPharmaceuticals Business Unit (BBU) creates and executes meaningful therapeutic area and product strategies that are focused on addressing the unmet needs of patients around the world. The BBU integrates commercial, market access, medical, digital, and corporate functions to drive scientific development and commercial excellence in the core areas of respiratory, cardiovascular, renal and diabetes disease.

As a Marketing Manager, Digital - Renal in Wilmington, DE, you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. The Marketing Manager is responsible for working with Brand Leadership and across global and partner collaboration teams to develop, implement and measure aspects of the brand strategy. This role is specifically focused on, but not limited to launch promotional planning, positioning, disease education, and marketing campaigns.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the execution of the digital multi-channel tactical marketing plan

  • Work closely with Global Commercial Operations to support aspects of our messaging and execution to patients including in-office promotion, digital, social and other DTC channels.

  • Manage ad agency performance and staffing to support brand goals.

  • Collaborate with the Associate Directors and Directors to define and facilitate development of the brand's promotional plan and programs and ensure their consistency with brand strategy

  • Partner with Business Insights and Market Research Team to define success metrics and analyze performance programs

  • Participate in the annual operational planning process by shaping the tactical plan and budget required to achieve the brand's stated objective.

  • Develop a patient advisory panel to ensure an evolved understanding of the unmet needs and insights of our patients and assessment of the value and patient-centricity of our on-going communications

  • Work with corporate affairs and advocacy partners to develop patient-centric programs

  • Manage promotional budget associated with brand marketing activities

  • Manage regulatory and legal review and approval process for key tactics and promotional assets

  • Support and participate in team activities to build a positive work culture

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Business, Marketing or in the sciences

  • 3+ years of marketing experience and 1+ year in pharmaceutical industry OR 3+ years of pharma or Healthcare experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead without authority

  • Consumer marketing experience with paid, owned and earned media

  • Experience with audience segmentation, content strategy and CRM workflow development

  • Experience with digital, social and mobile marketing channels, technology and analytics

  • Ability to gauge the feasibility, impact and risks of proposed programs

  • Comfort operating in a highly regulated environment and industry

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Field sales, Cardiovascular/Renal/Metabolic therapeutic-area experience

  • Experience launching new products or indications

  • MBA
