The Global Supply Planning Training Team, part of Global Supply Chain and Strategy, plays a key role in driving and building a culture of life-long learning and development in the Planning and Scheduling area. Our aim is to continually strengthen and evolve key capabilities and instill the confidence to challenge convention and explore new possibilities in our planning practices and execution. The Learning Specialist – Digital Content will report to the Global Head of Supply Planning Training.
The Digital Content Learning Specialist will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining Network Planning learning content as well as managing a variety of learning technologies. Self-motivation, attention to detail, and project management skills are important qualities for this role. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Global Supply Planning Training Team.
The role will be based in Macclesfield, UK, Wilmington/Gaithersburg, US, or Sodertalje, Sweden.
What you will do:
Gather and analyze learning needs; work with subject matter experts and process owners to design blended learning solutions on a global scale
Design and create a range of supply chain training and learning content including digital courses, micro-learning, videos, animations, print, and face-to-face facilitated sessions
Partner with teams within Global Supply Chain & Strategy and Global Operations to build and maintain job training profiles (with associated curricula) and learning evaluation tools
Create and administer learning processes, including standards and templates, for handling training administration processes (content lifecycle, technology maintenance, etc.)
Use and handle a range of learning technologies (e-learning authoring tools, content and document management systems, a learning experience platform, learning management systems, and adaptive learning tool) to improve the employee learning experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 3 years of proven experience working with learning management systems (e.g. Saba or equivalent) and document management systems (e.g. SharePoint or equivalent) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate or similar)
Proven knowledge of curriculum design and adult learning experience in a learning position within a global matrixed organization
Ability to work with a wide variety of roles across multiple workstreams
Project management skills
Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Instructional design experience
Experience in supply chain operations
Experience using Degreed, Xyleme, and Realizeit technologies
Change management experience
