Digital Experience Planning Lead

The Digital Experience Planning Lead role works closely with the Marketing Team, reviewers and our Agile Digital Delivery partners across a Therapeutic Area.  The role is responsible for ensuring all elements associated with bringing digital experience to life are aligned to strategic initiatives that are core to AstraZeneca’s digital transformation, improved patient experiences and business outcomes. 

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Builds strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholder teams and partners
  • Leads agile approach to planning, risk management, and holding partners accountable for successful omnichannel digital experience delivery
  • Acts as a digital champion and change agent
  • Leads in a structured oriented approach to deliver excellence in an end-to-end material review and approval process
  • Works with the Digital Planning Director and Therapeutic Area Digital Lead to identify improvement opportunities and lead change across the organization
  • Brings together and leads cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, Asset Reviewers and Digital Delivery Partners, through MLR process evolution

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Pharmaceutical brand strategic and operational planning processes
  • Knowledge of digital health and digital marketing content planning process
  • Understanding of digital content development, content strategy and approval processes
  • Independent self-starter with demonstrated trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communications
  • Knowledge of how digital marketing channels including SEO, email marketing, and social media are combined to deliver multi-channel and omnichannel campaigns
  • Strategic Project Management and SAFe Agile (Sprint/MVP focused) planning experience
  • Ability to work in a matrix team environment
  • Experience using project management software to plan, monitor and communicate project progress
  • Demonstrated success in:
    • program management of strategic and/or business critical initiatives 
    • leading cross-functional teams/ability to lead without authority
    • leading and managing change across large stakeholder teams including, in some instances, external partners (Strategic Alliance/Collaboration)

Preferred Background:

  • Understanding of scientific and/or commercial marketplace respective to biopharmaceutical therapeutic area(s)
  • 3-5 years of Pharmaceutical Marketing or Agency related experience
  • SAFe Agile or PMP Certification
