TITLE: Business Analyst
LOCATION: Wilmington, DE
HOURS: 40 hrs/week; Mon – Fri 9am-5pm
DUTIES: Assess and define business needs and areas for improvement, proactively seeking out opportunities to enhance and improve in line with strategic goals and proposing potential solutions through research. Identify stakeholders and build and maintain relationships according to individual stakeholder needs and levels of influence. Contribute to communication plans and change management for projects and stakeholders. Responsible for requirements management plans including elicitation, approvals, processes, Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (“RAID”) and scope impacts. Work to identify functional and technical requirements, translating the requirements into design specifications reflecting Functional Design, User Interface Design and Business Process Design. Partner with the Architecture team, ensuring technical solutions deliver the expected business benefits. Support the business case definition, capturing the business justification for investment including return on investment (“ROI”) and benefits realization.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any) or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in the position offered, as a Technical Analyst, or a related position. Must have four (4) years of experience in each of the following: Pharmaceutical Commercial Alignment Data Management; Pharmaceutical Customer Segmentation Data Management; Pharmaceutical Customer Targeting Data Management; Pharmaceutical Commercial Business Process Automation; Agile and Lean Methodologies for delivery and change management within the Software Development Lifecycle; Utilizing JIRA and Confluence for collaboration across diverse IT and business organizations; Oncology and Biopharma Domains in a Global Capacity; Working with Global Pharmaceutical Business & IT Teams in a Matrixed Organization to delivery business solutions; Stakeholder Management; and Business Process Management for delivering and optimizing Key Operational Processes within the commercial pharmaceutical domain. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a stated field plus one (1) years of experience. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
