Finance Assistant / Invoicing Assistant
The Finance Assistant will report into the Global Head, Business Planning and Operations, and his/her primary responsibilities will be raising and tracking Purchase Orders, tracking spend, invoicing, Assets & Capital Expenditure management as well as CAPEX demand and managing CAPEX budgets within CPSS. This role will be a member of Business Planning and Operations group and a key contact for the teams within CPSS.
Serve as the first-line contact for queries regarding CAPEX demand, asset status and CAPEX, purchase orders and invoicing within CPSS
Raises new purchase requisitions and amends existing purchase orders around CAPEX as well as raise new/amend existing Purchase orders on behalf of R&D study leaders
Create and maintain accurate data records in the CPSS invoicing excel database in a timely manner.
Promotes compliance with established AZ finance policy, standards and processes.
Develops good relationships with customers, checking status of PR and providing regular updates to customers to ensure there are no delays in purchase order being generated.
Provides support and develop expertise in finance systems: Coupa, AdminDirect Interface and others
Independently and pro-actively resolves issues and challenges related to supported projects and actively searches for continuous improvement in all areas to simplify ways of working
Essential qualifications and experience:
Experience raising purchase orders and managing invoices
Experience of working in a high volume, performance driven transactions environment.
Experience of working in a customer oriented organisation and track record of delivering high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Influencing and interpersonal skills
Qualifications: English Language and Maths to GCSE level C or equivalent
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Stakeholder management in the matrix organization
